Select The Best Way to Use Our Services
(Evening, Weekend and In-Home Appointments Available)
Initial Consultation
An attorney will meet with you to discuss your rights, the options available and/or inform you of tricky issues. We can also discuss your current concerns and the possible long and short-term solutions.
Series of Consultations or Document Review
If you do not need an attorney to represent you in court but want to meet with us on an “as needed” basis, we are available for a series of consultations. This option can be useful if you and your family or business partner are proactive in drafting the necessary documents and simply need professional legal advice. It is also useful if you have chosen to proceed with mediation but still desire an attorney to review and advise you on your agreements. If you have completed a divorce process and have questions as you move into your new phase of life, we are also available to work with you as needed. Consulting services only.
Drafting Your Agreement
If you and your family or partner have reached an agreement or know what terms you want in your agreement, you may choose to have an attorney draft the terms of your agreement for you into a formal legal document. You and your partner may also use our questionnaire to make sure that you have addressed and settled all matters, including the specific terms that apply to your situation. Drafting services only.
Mediation
If you and your partner are committed to working together to reach an agreement, but need some guidance, we can act as a neutral third-party to help you reach a co-operative agreement. This option empowers both parties to develop creative solutions that work for their individual situation. In this process we do not represent either party and function solely as a facilitator to help you through the settlement process. We are prohibited from meditating if we have met or talked with either party individually about the issues involved. If you so choose, our firm can provide mediation services and each party may also have an outside attorney to review any agreements.
Collaborative Divorce
If you want to resolve your disagreements outside of the courtroom, and yet would like to have the benefit of individual legal representation by an attorney during your negotiations, this option offers the best of both worlds. You will both have an attorney to represent you, chosen from a panel of independent participating collaborative law attorneys who are committed to a no-litigation process.
